Folding the SR-5S e-scooter Collar in LOCKED position Locate the collar on the steering shaft which should be in the LOCKED position while using the SR-5S. UNLOCKED collar Turn the collar to the UNLOCKED position. Pull up on the collar Apply one foot on the top deck of the SR-5S and push the steering shaft slightly forward while pulling up on the collar. This will help remove some of the tension on the hinge mechanism allowing the collar to be easily lifted. Gently fold the steering shaft Once the collar is lifted, it will allow the hinge mechanism to fully engage. Gently fold the steering shaft down and latch it to the rear fender.
