Fully click the tail switch for on/off Half tap the switch to cycle through the brightness levels Half-press and hold to activate the momentary spotlight for searching Fully press and hold to engage the momentary full 4000 lumens flood mode Why does my EDC33 flashlight turn on but not stay on? (Why doesn't it turn on consistently?) Press the switch quickly yet firmly. Listen for a distinct click sound to confirm it's properly engaged. It may require a few attempts initially to become familiar with the necessary pressure and speed for operating the switch effectively. What does the proximity sensor do? Can it be disabled? The built-in sensor automatically lowers the (1200 lumen) brightness level when it detects an object blocking the front of the light in close proximity.
