Sirius 1849P-BK S35VN Black PVD With Coral Micarta Handle Product Features The Sirius is Artisan Cutlery’s newest collaboration with knifemaker Ray Laconico. Sporting some of Ray’s signature clean lines and sleek styling, the Sirius presents an elegant shape thar’s well suited to the office or in the field. Much like our previous design with Mr. Laconico this knife features a low-profile front flipper that allows the blade to snap open with a quick roll of the thumb or index finger. The Sirius is Artisan Cutlery’s newest collaboration with knifemaker Ray Laconico. We’ve all added a single-sided thumb stud for an alternative opening method giving this model a little extra fidget-factor. S35VN Powder Steel The blade of the Sirius is constructed from the Black PVD CPM-S35VN steel that perfectly blends edge retention, corrosion resistance, and ease of sharpening. This is the ideal option for an every day carry knife that will stay strong through all of your adventures. Cutting Profile The Sirius features an acute drop point blade with a swedged spine that is ideal for making long accurate cuts or doing delicate work with the tip. We feel that this blade is the perfect balance between classy and functional with a refined grind that tapers to a fine tip and a wide profile to lend strength and stability to tougher cuts and piercing tasks. Designer Ray Laconico is an American Knifemaker, based out of Visalia, California. As a fixture in the world of pocket knives Ray’s designs are well known for their smooth, sophisticated lines, and minimalistic style making them a perfect fit for EDC enthusiasts and collectors alike. Ballbearing In order to ensure smooth and fast operation we’ve outfitted the Sirius with a ceramic ball-bearing pivot construction which allows for quick and snappy one-handed front flipper or thumb stud deployment and smooth closing action. A ceramic détente ensures that this knife will maintain crisp, snappy action for a lifetime of use. High-end Accessories We have added several premium elements to this knife to give it the prefect amount of visual appeal and performance. The clip is made from fully milled titanium and fits smoothly into the groove in the scale of the knife allowing for exceptional retention and a sleek, minimal look, The pivot is decorated with a Titanium pivot collar, adding a little more sophistication to this already stylish knife. The Sirius also features a hidden lanyard pin for those who want to attach a lanyard without disrupting the flow of the design. Double Red Coral Micarta Scales The Sirius features a set of ultralight Double Red Coral Micarta scales that have been carefully milled to reduce weight without sacrificing grip.
